Physical Description:

Tall, reptillian-appearing humanoid with a green, scaly hide and a saw-toothed ridge running along the spine and tail. Large, segmented eyes resembling those of insects. Mouth is filled with many large, razor sharp teeth. Always wears mesh type combat armor on body and head. Typically carries a crossbow with a 300 lb. draw instead of an energy weapon. Is also armed with a taddsss, a 7 ft. long staff with a spiked metallic band at each end.

Personality:

Slith is a fierce warrior with a strong love of combat. Like most Gorn, Slith prefers hand-to-hand over ranged combat. Also typical of Gorn, Slith shuns energy weapons, preferring to use his 300-lb. pull crossbow (lovingingly called "Betsy"), or his traditional Gorn weapon, the tad'ss (a bladed polearm-type weapon). He also possesses a "ceremonial" dagger awarded by Captain Adam Android in recognition of his service as head of the Scaled Guard on the ISS Reciprocity and USS Sojourner.

As to personality profiles from his previous service in the Gorn Imperial Military, the Gorn Empire refused to provide any further information, citing ***CLASSIFIED INFORMATION DELETED***. In addition, Gorn typically do not "test well" on standard psychological exams.

Background:

Slith came from the Gorn Homeworld as a member of a Starfleet Officer Exchange Program (File #Z23045) on assignment to the Reciprocity Mission. This was in fact ***CLASSIFIED INFORMATION DELETED***.

Slith has since applied for Federation Citizenship, which was granted, and had his "temporary" Starfleet Rank made permanent at that time. He has since worked up through the ranks to Lieutenant Commander.

Background:

Note to Engineering staff: Slith has been known to use live weapons during holodeck simulations, and in experimentation with various forms of "Security Measures". He is also known to be damaging to ships' interiors with his impressive strength and powerful claws.
